Laborers' International Union of North America, Local 220 chartered September 4, 1910, representing over 1,700 men and women in the Building Construction Trades in Kern, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties of California and throughout the state working under Master Agreements administrated by the Southern California District Council of Laborers.
Local 220 is an affiliate of LIUNA – the Laborers’ International Union of North America – the most progressive, aggressive, and fastest-growing union of construction workers, and one of the most diverse and effective unions. LIUNA members are united through collective bargaining agreements which help us earn family-supporting pay, good benefits and the opportunity for advancement and better lives.
